I contacted Citizen Properties for the design and rebuild of my house in Bel Air. From the get-go, Shannon Sheehan and her team impressed me with their professionalism and attention to detail. The craftsmanship of my new home is of exceptionally high quality. The construction process went very smoothly and was right on schedule. Communication was constant and clear and if any issues arose, Shannon and her crew were ready with a solution. Contract administration was accurate and invoicing prompt and easy to understand. All subcontractors demonstrated a high level of expertise, were extremely easy to talk to, and had a long-standing relationship with Citizen Properties. After the job was completed CPI has always been available whenever I need them.

The Painted Turtle is a 173-acre camp specifically designed and built for children who have serious medical conditions. It is a large campus with more than 25 buildings. This year more than 2,000 children and family members will be served, all of whom must deal with the consequences of serious illness on a daily basis.
The mission of the camp is nothing short of providing a life-changing experience for these children and their families. As you can imagine, that is a rather lofty goal.
Shannon Sheehan was a member of the camp’s design team. She was involved for years prior to construction in the design development stage. She was also involved during construction, and she was in charge of procuring all fixtures, furnishings, and equipment after construction was completed. Shannon was professional, creative and willing to go the extra mile to meet our deadlines and create a magical environment.
Shannon’s work greatly enhances the spirit of the camp and thus helps us fulfill our mission.
The Painted Turtle is in its fifth year of operation and I can confirm that her work is holding up well, despite the wear and tear that is inevitable in a camp that operates on a year-round basis.

To Whom It May Concern: Shannon Sheehan of Citizen Properties was the general contractor on an extensive addition we made to our home from June of 1990 to January of 1991. Ms. Sheehan and her employees constructed a guest house on our property, in addition to a carport, landscaping, and hardscaping around our new pool and backyard area, and installed a new kitchen floor in our main house. During the seven months, it took to complete the job, Ms. Sheehan was there daily. She not only coordinated the efforts of her own crew and sub-contractors but served as a liaison between us and our pool contractor as well -- including some touch-up work around the pool that he had neglected to perform (for which she did not charge us).
Ms. Sheehan was always responsive to our needs and requests -- not to mention our not-infrequent changes of mind -- and kept us up-to-date on each phase of construction; she was always accessible, courteous, and promptly returned our phone calls if we had questions when she was not on-site. She didn’t install any fixtures, trim or hardware without first consulting us as to taste and preference, and the quality of such items she installed was first-rate. In the past 22 months since construction was completed, Ms. Sheehan and her people have returned whenever asked to fine-tune several rough spots that occurred -- luckily for us, and a testimonial to the quality of her work, those occasions have numbered exactly two.
We’ve had a good bit of experience with contractors since purchasing our 64-year old "fixer," and Ms. Sheehan has surely been the best we’ve worked with. She’s honest, dedicated, efficient, personable, and responsible, and we’ve heartily recommended her to anyone in need of an excellent contractor. We will continue to do so.

This letter is to thank you and your entire staff for your efforts in making two natural disasters (Hurricane Iniki & the April 14, 2018 flooding of Kauai) that affected my family and homes as painless as possible.
